Joseph King

Joseph was born and lived for many years on the Southside (Tidewater) before moving to the Peninsula in 2018. Joseph worked for thirteen years in hospitality management and left the industry as a chef in 2011. He worked for several years as the manager of his father’s tax firm while moving into the financial services through Dave Stagemeyer.

Joseph takes a holistic approach to investing and finance. He brings extensive experience in budgeting, cash management, debt reduction, taxation, retirement planning, and estate planning to aid clients in meeting their goals.

Joseph specializes in working with businesses to build better balance sheets, in mergers and acquisitions, in succession planning, and establish benefit programs that foster retention and contribute to efficient tax and retirement planning.

Joseph has served on the boards of several philanthropic non-profits. He served as vice president of SAWA Foundation USA and currently serves on the board of Reflective Perspectives Inc. providing relationship support and conflict resolution to families and individuals.
