According to the Pew Research Center in 2018, 34% of American college graduates under age 30 have outstanding student loans.

“Looking only at young adults with a bachelors degree or more education the share with outstanding student debt rises to 49%.”1 Student loan debt has continued to rise along with the price of tuition, and roughly one quarter of US Students now owe $43,000 or more. Now 43 million adult Americans owe $1.5 trillion dollars in student loans.2

These alarming statistics demonstrate an important need that our young people have -with all this debt they are having great difficulty achieving financial security.
